Our Vision
LYC strives to inspire youth of all ages and backgrounds to engage meaningfully with Lao cultural traditions, including dance, music, language, sports, and history. We provide a cultural space where members can explore their roots, learn from one another, and build pride in Lao identity.
By encouraging Lao elders to share their experiences, knowledge, and traditions, we help ensure that cultural wisdom is carried forward to future generations and shared across the broader American community.
Goals
Our goal is to encourage, inspire all generations to carry on Lao heritage & culture from one generation
to the next. Allowing the elders to teach their experiences, knowledge and pass down a beautiful
language, religion, sport and culture. Giving the youths the place to stand and the opportunities to learn,
exchange their root of knowledge in the world.
